Neretva Bread Makers
Every Neretva bread machine bakes with two heating elements instead of one, so the crust colours from above as well as below. Choose by loaf size: 2 lb for a household of two or three, 2.2 lb and 3.3 lb when the loaf has to last.
The bread maker is the machine this brand is known for, and the 20-in-1 model is the one most kitchens start with. Twenty programmes cover the whole range from a plain white tin to gluten free, jam, yoghurt and pizza dough, three crust shades let you decide how dark the top goes, and a 15 hour delay timer means the loaf can be waiting when the alarm goes off rather than three hours after breakfast.
Above it sit the two dispenser models. Both add an automatic fruit and nut hopper that tips its contents in at the right moment in the knead, which is the one step a person almost always gets wrong by hand. The 2.2 lb machine runs a 600 W motor, the 3.3 lb runs 800 W and takes the biggest loaf in the range. All three line their pans with ceramic rather than PTFE, and all three come with the paddle hook, measuring cup and spoon, and a heat resistant glove in the box.
