How we update the catalogue
The catalogue was last updated on August 8, 2026. Prices move, and if the figure at the till differs from the figure here, the till is right. This page explains what we refresh, how often, and what we do when something does not line up.
What we refresh
- Prices for every model and every option in the catalogue.
- Availability, so a model with no current price is marked rather than hidden.
- Customer rating averages and rating counts on the models that carry them.
- Specifications, when a model is revised and the figures on the box change.
These are our own catalogue figures, refreshed on a schedule rather than typed in by hand. Nothing on this site is priced from memory, and nothing is left at a number we last touched a year ago.
How often
The whole catalogue is refreshed on a regular cycle, and the date at the top of this page is the last time that ran end to end. Between updates, prices at checkout can move: promotions start and finish, and stock changes. That is why the date lives here, on one page, rather than under every price on the site. A date printed a hundred times becomes wallpaper and stops being read.
Models with no current price
When a model has no current price, we mark it "Currently unavailable" and leave it in the catalogue. Deleting it would be tidier and less useful: people arrive looking for the machine they own, and a page that exists with a note is better than a dead end. When it is orderable again, the price returns with the next update.
Ratings and reviews
Rating averages and counts come in with the same catalogue update as the prices, and the customer quotes on this site are reproduced as written, spelling and all. We keep critical reviews alongside positive ones. A three star review that explains exactly what annoyed somebody is more useful to a buyer than ten five star reviews that say "great".
Health and safety claims
Where a page touches food safety, caffeine or nutrition, it cites a national health agency or a professional body, and the source is opened and read before the sentence citing it is written. Each trust block on the site lists its sources with the date they were read. Where a statement would amount to medical advice, we do not make it.
Where the buying happens
Our buy buttons hand off to the store where the purchase is completed, and payment, delivery and returns all happen there. We do not take payment, hold stock or send parcels. The affiliate relationship behind those buttons is set out in our affiliate disclosure, and it does not change which models we list or what we say about them.
