Most kitchen mixers run an AC motor that gets hot and loud under dough. Ours runs a 400 W DC motor, which stays cooler and quieter, in a body weighted at the base so it does not walk across the counter.

The bowl holds 6.34 quarts and takes 1600 grams of dough in one go, which is a family batch of bread or a double tray of cinnamon rolls. The head tilts back for scraping, and the hook, flat beater, wire whip and pouring shield are all in the box rather than sold as extras.

The weighted base is the detail worth knowing about. Stiff dough is what makes a mixer bounce, and a load bearing block at the bottom keeps this one planted through the knead instead of creeping toward the edge while your back is turned.
